1. A minimum of $100 is required to open this account. The Annual Percentage Yield (APY) is accurate as of Friday, July 03, 2009.  The APY for balances under $2,500 is 0.55%. Deposits in excess of $250,000 subject to bank acceptance.  No brokered funds.

The Money Market is subject to Federal Reserve Regulation D, which permits no more than six (6) telephone transfers or pre-authorized withdrawals (including overdraft protection, Internet Banking transfers, check, draft, debit card or similar order (including point-of-sale (POS) transactions) made by the depositor and payable to third parties), during any statement period.  Transfers and withdrawals made in person, by messenger, mail, or at an ATM are unlimited.

2. The Annual Percentage Rate (APR) is accurate as of Friday, July 03, 2009. Advertised rate assumes combined 80% loan-to-value on principal residence. Payment example: For every $1,000 borrowed on a fixed rate home equity loan the monthly payment amount would be: At 6.24% Interest Rate for 60 months, Payment = $19.44 // At 6.99% Interest Rate for 180 Months, Payment = $8.98. Property insurance and $300 Loan Fee (approved loans only) required on all Home Equity Loans and Lines of Credit.

FDIC Insurance Coverage

Effective May 20, 2009, the temporary increase to FDIC insurance coverage up to $250,000 per depositor, has been extended until December 31, 2013.  Although Earthstar Bank chose not to participate in the optional Transaction Account Guarantee Program, your deposits are covered under the traditional FDIC insurance program.  Visit www.fdic.gov for more information about the FDIC or to calculate your coverage.
